Laura Moreno Co-founder and CEO
Our leader. With more than 15 years in the space sector, Laura Moreno is the Co-founder and CEO of EarthPulse. She leads the company strategy and direction. Prior to Earthpulse she worked at the European Space Agency and later on private sector. She combines deep technical insight analyzing satellite data with many years of leadership experience. She is a problem solver by definition & aims at making satellite data analytics a commodity.

With more than 5 years in the geospatial ecosystem, he has broad experience in software development and data analysis, focused on results and real problems solving. Our mission is to simplify Earth Observation (EO) data with AI to provide actionable insights. We are expanding rapidly, and we’re looking for a creative, driven Earth Observation data analyst to help us transforming our data into value.

Position Overview

As an EO Data Analyst, you will focus on solving complex and critical business problems using Earth Observation data. You will also play a key role in executing projects and demonstrations for clients, ensuring that solutions are not only technically robust but also user-friendly and understandable. You will continuously improve our existing solutions, build new applications, and help shape project structures. We value a natural drive to stay updated with the latest technologies and a passion for designing appealing and integrated analytical approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Execute pilots, demos, PoCs and projects with rigor in processes, focusing on results and final delivery to clients.
Develop data analysis algorithms and efficient pipelines, deploying them into production while continuously improving existing processes.
Work closely with the product team to transform project outcomes into insights that deliver value to our users from a product perspective.
Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements and communicate project findings clearly.
Prepare comprehensive reports and user-friendly documentation that translate technical findings into actionable insights for clients.
Understand market trends related to data, methodologies, and industries to inform project direction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive integration of insights into product offerings.
Engage in continuous learning and adaptation to emerging technologies in the EO and AI landscape.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of deployed solutions, providing feedback for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
Practical experience with data analysis tools.
Experience with Earth Observation data is required.
Knowledge of other geospatial datasets is highly valued.
Experience with radar data is a significant plus.
Strong applied statistical skills (e.g., statistical tests, distributions, regression analysis).
Experience working in agile project teams (Scrum, Kanban).
Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan.
Independent, creative, curious, and committed to both team and company success.
